1. Worship Services

1.1  What are the different Worship Services with effect from 30 January 2022?

Traditional English Service at 8:15am, Contemporary English Service at 10:45am and Mandarin Service at 9:30am:

  • ​More than 50 pax and open to worshippers who are:

    • Full vaccinated (refer to 1.3); or

    • Exempted from Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) (refer 1.4)

This is in line with MOH's guidelines on VDS.

1.2  I am unvaccinated. Can I still attend service?


Un​fortunately, unvaccinated worshippers will no longer be able to attend on-site services unless they are exempted from VDS (refer to 1.4)

The CS livestream is still available if you are unable to attend on-site services.

 

We deeply empathize with you and those who are unable to attend our worship services on-site.  We are engaging the authorities on how to extend the ministries of our church to you.
 

1.3  What does “Fully Vaccinated” refer to?


A worshipper is considered fully vaccinated if he/ she has received the full regimen of Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty, Moderna or WHO EUL vaccines (e.g., AstraZeneca, Janssen, Sinopharm, Sinovac), with an additional 14 days for the vaccine to be fully effective.

From 14 Feb 2022, those aged 18 and above will have to take a booster shot within 270 days of completing their primary vaccination series in order to maintain a fully vaccinated status against COVID-19.


1.4  Who are exempted from Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS)?

  • Worshippers who have recovered from COVID-19 within the last 180 days

  • Worshippers who are certified to be medically ineligible for all COVID-19 vaccines under The National Vaccination Programme.

  • Children 12 years old and below.

1.5  Will CS still be livestreamed?


Yes, CS will still be livestreamed. 
 

2. Coming For Service

2.1  What do I need to bring to attend CS, regarding the Safe Management Measures?

  • If you are fully vaccinated, please bring:

    • Your mobile device with the updated TraceTogether App, or

    • A working TraceTogether token.

  • If you are exempted from VDS, please bring:

    1. SafeEntry Check-in:

      • Your mobile device with the updated TraceTogether App, or

      • A working TraceTogether token, or

    2. PET Exemption Notice or Discharge Memo if it indicates the date of the 1st PCR positive result

    3. Hardcopy of doctor-certification of medical ineligibility for all COVID-19 vaccines

    4. ​Government-issued photo identification document (e.g. NRIC, Driving License), for verification of identity.

  • If you are a child aged 12 and below, please bring:

    1. SafeEntry Check-in:

      • Your mobile device with the updated TraceTogether App, or

      • A working TraceTogether token

    2. Birth certificate or Government-issued photo identification document (e.g. EZLink card, passport), for verification of age.

2.2  Does my vaccination status need to be verified each time I attend service?

 

Yes, this is the current protocol for screening.

2.3  What should I do if I am feeling unwell on the day of service?

Please stay at home if you are unwell, and if necessary, seek medical treatment.

2.4  Is registration still required to attend worship services?

Yes, registration via the MCI Booking System is still required for entry into the service. Registration for all services opens at 8:15am on Sunday one week in advance.

2.5  I was vaccinated overseas.  Am I exempted from VDS?

Overseas vaccination certificates are not valid for entry into the church.

If you were vaccinated overseas, please update your vaccination records in the National Immunisation Registry.
